
ASHLEY LEACH, PT
Ashley earned her Masters of Physical Therapy degree at LSU Health Science Center-Shreveport in 2003. She then moved to Baton Rouge to begin her career as a pediatric physical therapist. She treated children with cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and other neurodevelopmental and physical impairments. She is certified in the TheraSuit Method. She is also a founding member of the Wheels to Succeed program at McMains Children's Developmental Center. This program provides adapted bikes and opportunities to ride these bikes in group settings for children in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas.
Ashley also loves treating the elderly as she specializes in balance training and fall prevention. She also enjoys treating patients with neurological impairments, such as Parkinson's disease and strokes. Ashley is certified in the LSVT-BIG method, which is an evidence-based, intensive program for people with Parkinson's disease.
